The word laconic describes a distinct style of communication—using only a few words to express complex ideas.
Staying true to our name, we communicate medical, scientific, and health information concisely and effectively, ensuring content is informative, accurate, and purposeful without unnecessary complexity.

Founder & Principal Consultant
Christina Sanguinetti
Christina Sanguinetti founded Laconic Medical Writing Inc. in 2020 after more than a decade as a freelance medical writer and communicator.
She holds a degree in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Immunology and Microbiology and has nearly 20 years of experience in various aspects of across clinical research, including regulatory documentation, and clinical operations. Her background also includes work as a clinical research coordinator in Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials.
Christina is deeply committed to advancing global health literacy. She recently participated in a healthcare delegation to Ghana focused on improving access to healthcare in underserved communities and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
She is currently completing her Master Herbalist diploma and serves as:
- Board Member and Research Sub-Committee Member, Ontario Herbalist Association
- Chapter Founder and Coordinator, Herbalists Without Borders – United Herbalists of Ontario
- Guest Lecturer, Dresden International University (Medical Writing & Publications – MPCR Program)
Christina is the Past President (2016–2017) of the American Medical Writers Canada Chapter and continues to support Partners for Patients NGO through education and advocacy initiatives.
